| Mount Washington Place is one of the premier condominium developments at Bretton Woods. It sits in the shadow of the Presidential Range and is completely surrounded by the White Mountain National Forest. Each MWP building (representative pictured to the right) includes three or four units, each with two or three levels, between two and five bedrooms and 2-1/2 or 3-1/2 baths, with open floor layouts and cathedral ceilings. There are about 110 units scattered up the mountain slope on the quiet, sunny side of the Ammonoosuc River valley. Most have spectacular views of Crawford Notch and/or the ski area. We share our grounds with plenty of local wildlife. Access to the ski area is by a free, frequent, door-to-door shuttle service and takes just 5 minutes. | | |
 | | MWP is part of the Mt. Washington Resort which offers a wide range of facilities including the Rosebrook Recreation Center with indoor pool, workout facility, squash and racquetball courts, steam rooms, jacuzzi, and tennis courts (MWP also has its own tennis court). The nearby historic Mt. Washington Hotel (pictured left) has many amenities and resources for MWP residents. |
| Bretton Woods is a four-seasons outdoors paradise. Winter comes early; the downhill skiing and snowboarding area (open November through April) is the largest in New Hamphshire and has the best snow. The nordic skiing area is one of the largest in the East and offers breathaking views of the Presidential Range. The coming of spring brings flatwater and whitewater kayaking, as well as trout fishing in the many streams. Summer means spectacular hiking in the White Mountain National Forest and superb mountain biking, golf, wildlife watching, and just escaping the summer heat (the highest temperature ever recorded at Bretton Woods is 93oF!). Fall is the celebrated season when the trees treat us to a glorious kaleidoscope of colors. The Bretton Woods area is rich in history and boasts a number of unique attractions, and yet it has managed to preserve its wilderness and the community retains its relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You will not want to leave! | | |
